RE :: 501c3 on Target :: Upcoming Social at Llywelyn’s :: Spelunking!
Greetings STL Adventurists and Outdoor Teachers!
Non-Profit Status (incorporating as a 501c3)
I recently had a second meeting with the legal clinic at Washington University concerning the incorporation of STREAM School as a 501c3. They looked over the current documentation including bylaws and organizational structure, which are their primary concerns. While everything is in order and generally OK for incorporation, that does not mean that we should not make changes based on the input of a broader group of stakeholders. In other words, do YOU think there should be changes to these documents? You can check them out HERE with the password Huzzah!.
Social at Llywelyn’s
Our first meeting is set for March 11 at 6pm, Llywelyn’s Pub in Webster Groves. This meeting will be very short on official communication. If nothing else, it will be an opportunity to have a drink and conversation with some fascinating educators and outdoor leaders! Think you can make it? Call, text, or email me 314.719.6025, kmparentin@gmail.com. Or just show up! Details about what we can discuss HERE.
Spelunking!
Did you know that Illinois Caverns is back open? This cave is truly one of the crown jewels of Gateway Area outdoor education. After a long rest, the cave is back open to public exploration. Would you like to revisit it… or experience it for the first time? Details about a trip are being assembled HERE.
The 2024 Expedition for Experiential Educators
Want to float an Ozark stream with folks who are passionate about teaching outdoors? Check out the details HERE.
