Chairperson/President:
Provides overall leadership to the board.
Facilitates board meetings.
Acts as a spokesperson for the organization.

Vice-Chairperson/Vice-President:
Supports the Chairperson in their duties.
Assumes the Chairperson’s responsibilities in their absence.

Secretary:
Takes minutes during board meetings.
Manages official records and documents.
Handles correspondence.

Treasurer:
Manages the organization’s finances.
Prepares and presents financial reports to the board.
Works with auditors on financial matters.

Safety Committee Chair:
Oversees safety policies and procedures
Collaborates with the director of programming to ensure best practices
Networks with organizations like NOLS / WMI for minimum training

Education and Curriculum Committee Chair:
Oversees the educational programs and initiatives.
Collaborates with the executive director on curriculum development.
Ensures educational goals align with the organization’s mission.

Fundraising Committee Chair:
Leads efforts to secure funding for the organization.
Develops and implements fundraising strategies.
Engages with donors and sponsors.

Community Outreach Committee Chair:
Builds and maintains relationships with the community.
Coordinates outreach programs and partnerships.
Represents the organization at community events.

Marketing and Communications Committee Chair:
Develops marketing strategies to promote the organization.
Manages public relations and communication efforts.
Oversees social media, website, and other communication channels.

Equipment and Technology Committee Chair:
Manages the organization’s technology infrastructure.
Advises on technology-related decisions.
Ensures data security and privacy compliance.

Legal and Compliance Committee Chair:
Ensures the organization complies with relevant laws and regulations.
Manages legal matters and contracts.
Advises the board on legal implications of decisions.

Members-at-Large:
Individuals with specific expertise or perspectives beneficial to the organization.
Contribute to discussions and decision-making.

Executive Director:
Responsible for day-to-day operations.
Implements board decisions.
Reports to the board regularly.

Advisory Board (non – voting):
Individuals who have served a term or do not wish to serve a term but possess valuable knowledge and perspectives
